The River Ouse in Cambridgeshire, England has been reportedly changing color on a regular basis.

The peculiar phenomenon, which has already been reported to environmental authorities, has reportedly been occurring for months with the water turning alternate shades of green and blue.

“It changes color, sometimes it’s blue, sometimes it’s green,” said Huntingdon resident Natalia Maca.

“It’s not just the one day, it happens nearly everyday. It’s been happening for months.”

“I’ve called up the Environment Agency and they just keep giving me a reference number and say that they will report it and investigate but nothing has changed.”

Concerns have also been raised following reports that dogs have been falling ill after swimming in it.

It is thought that the strange coloration could be the result of an industrial leak somewhere nearby.
