There are many celebrities who believe in ghosts and the supernatural, and have shared their experiences over the years.
Whether it’s seeing a demonic face in a picture, witnessing a strange change in environment or actually being in the presense of a ghostly figure, these stars have had their fair share of hauntings.
Holly Willoughby has admitted to believing in ghosts, and confessed to being so terrified there was one in her house she went all the way to a supermarket to use the toilet.
Phillip Schofield’s co-star confessed one morning when she went downstairs in her pyjamas to see her husband, Dan Baldwin, off to work, she refused to return upstairs to go to the loo because she believed a ghost may be there.
She said: “I looked upstairs and thought, ‘I can’t go up there in case she’s up there.’
“I needed the loo. The only way I could do it was to go to the dirty laundry washing bin in the kitchen, put on filthy clothes and drive to Sainsbury’s, which was where the nearest toilet was.”
The mum-of-three added: “It’s a genetic thing too. My daughter has my brain, my mind for scary things. Already I see it.
“She says to me, ‘Mummy in that corner there’s a shadow there’ and I’m thinking, ‘Stop telling me this, I can’t even help you through this.’ I have to really man up and say, ‘There’s nothing there.’”
Kris Jenner believes her late ex husband Robert Kardashian tried to warn Kim Kardashian the day she was attacked in Paris.
During an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris explained how Kim has had a Blackberry for years now, and yet has never set an alarm on it.
However, the day of the attack in Paris – which was also the anniversary of Robert’s funeral – an alarm on Kim’s phone went off.
Kris said: “It’s crazy because we all believe that when we lose somebody really close to us that they still have a way of communicating if you really pay attention.
She added: “So, maybe that was a warning for Kim.”
Jessica Alba has starred in a few horror films herself, including The Eye and Awake, but has also opened up about her own paranormal experience when she was younger.
She explained while in bed: “I felt this pressure and I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t scream, I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t do anything.
“Something definitely took the covers off me and I definitely couldn’t get off the bed, and then, once I did, I screamed, ran to my parents’ room and I don’t think I spent many nights in that house ever again.”
Miley Cyrus believes her flat in London was haunted in 2009.
At the time, the singer confessed to Elle UK how her sister got burned in the shower, with no simple explanation.
She explained: “One night, my little sister— it sounds crazy to tell you— but was standing in the shower and all of the sudden, I hear her scream.
“I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but it was still…It wasn’t like the water just changed, the knob had turned but she hadn’t turned it and was burning her. She was really red.”
She added she thought she’d seen a little boy in the shower following the burning incident, believed to be the ghost of someone that used to live in the building with his dad.
Ariana Grande’s ghost story is enough to make anyone nervous.
The singer revealed in an interview with Complex magazine she experienced a demonic presence during a trip to a haunted castle.
She explained: “We wanted to go to Stull Cemetery, which is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth.
“The Pope won’t fly over it…I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon, and there was a fly in the car randomly, which is another sign of a demon.”
She continued: “”I was like, ‘This is scary, let’s leave.’ I rolled down the window before we left and said, ‘We apologise. We didn’t mean to disrupt your peace.’ Then I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture—they’re faces of textbook demons.
“I deleted it. The next day I tried to send the picture to my manager and it said, ‘This file can’t be sent, it’s 666 megabytes.’”
