After coming out of a seven-year marriage there was just one thing on Nadia Bokody‘s mind – sex.
Admitting the last 12 months of her relationship had been completely passion-free, she told her friend about her frustration.
Her pal suggested she text a guy to ask outright if he fancied some no strings attached fun, and so began a very, very busy week.
Nadia, who lives in Australia, ended up having seven one night stands in just seven days – and she admitted she was “exhausted” by the end of it.
First it was Ryan, “cute” guy she had dated a few weeks before.
He replied to her message almost immediately and shortly afterwards they were together.
When it was all over Nadia cried, and she realised it wasn’t actually about the sex but about the “liberation” and acting on her desires.
Writing for SheSaid.com, she said: “I felt alive. I felt like me. And I loved it.
“And so, without entirely setting out to, I began a seven-day expedition of sorts, venturing through each of the hues of the new sexual rainbow coming into focus at the end of a long and heady relationship storm.”
The next evening she went to a nightclub and met Ted, who gave her “one of the fastest orgasms of her life”.
She “broke the rules” on Sunday and messaged Matt, a guy who she had Facebook stalked after he asked her for her number.
On Monday she “pushed the boundaries further” and met businesswoman Lisa, who “treated sex like a tantalizing meal best enjoyed slowly and purposefully”.
Tuesday was Charlie, a guy she had been on several dates with who she claimed was her “sexual soulmate”.
Steve, a serving military man, was Wednesday’s lucky guy and Nadia was very impressed by his “Grecian godlike body”.
By Thursday, Nadia admits she was “exhausted” but still decided to see English guy Ben for the final night of her experiment.
She said” “Letting go of everything I knew about love, lust, and sexual gratification in the strange security of transient lovers who knew nothing of me or my history allowed me to find my way back to myself – before I was a wife, a girlfriend, or even someone’s fling. And that was the real pot of gold at the end of my sexual rainbow.”
